Bill Cullifer here on behalf of the Energy Education Foundation and the SayYesToSolar.org Initiative.

I’m on the phone with Julia Hamm, Executive Director of the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) based in Washington, D.C. Good afternoon Julia and thank you for agreeing to this interview.

Julia, I have two questions for you. What is the mission of SEPA and how can consumers benefit?

Solar Electric Power Association is a nonprofit organization, formed in 1992 as the Utility Photovoltaic Group, with 250 utility, electric service provider, manufacturer, installer, government, and research members. SEPA’s mission is to facilitate solutions for the use and integration of solar electric power by utilities, electric service providers, and their customers.
